The King Arthur flour Co.’s pancake recipe. Every weekend for the past few months I’ve tried a different recipe for pancakes. As far as white all-purpose flour pancakes go, this is the best I’ve found. I added an additional ¼ milk and a bit more sugar.

Though “clean” is hardly the right word here since I haven’t really even unpacked yet since moving in. Note the box of stuff on the floor and the broken CRT monitor on my desk that hasn’t worked in months and requires that I prop my MacBook up on some wooden box to emulate having a monitor of sorts. I’ll set a target of Sunday for posting my “After” picture. We’ll see.

What a difference a font can make! I futzed around with Coda from Panic yesterday for a while on a project. It was enjoyable to use but I kept finding that I would return to TextMate to do anything heavy with my code. I realized after bouncing back and forth between them that what I really liked about Coda was the default font. It was smaller than what I was using on TextMate but still really, really readable.
